I’m Stila Diva

My sister-in-law thwarted all my efforts to avoid the mall this weekend by repeatedly tempting me to shop. I tell everyone I don’t like to go because I don’t care for the chaos, but in reality I want to buy way too many “Christmas presents” for myself while shopping for others. I was doing great at several stores, checking gifts off the list and pumping my iron fist of  “I don’t need that!” willpower until we went into Sephora. I got into some really good trouble here because I found the perfect eyeshadow palette for every occasion. Stila’s Naturaleyes offers 10 fabulous colors that are great for subtle everyday, nighttime glam and runway smokey eyes. I love to play dress up just to go to the store or clean the house. Even though I’m a busy mom and don’t go out as much as I used to, I’m Stila Diva.

What’s In the Basket?

You decide! The holiday excitement is quickly approaching and maybe you’ve started shopping, cleaning and menu planning to get ready for your festivities. A great addition to your list of preparations is an overnight guest basket. Spoil your family and friends with a lavish assortment of toiletries to put in the bathroom or bedroom where they’ll be staying. I like to add luxurious soap, lotion, body wash, facial mask/scrub, hand cream and body splash in my guest baskets. It’s also nice to include travel size versions of toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, Q-tips, shave gel and mouthwash (just in case they forgot something). Stop by the Bunny Boutique and All Vitamins Plus.com for lots of exciting goodies to put in your basket. The surprise treats add a welcoming and warm touch to their visit.

Pretty Paws

It’s hard to enjoy the fall and winter with dry, cracked hands. I’ve tried many lotions over the years looking for a way to alleviate the pain of sad winter paws.  I finally found a solution to get soft, moisturized hands. My favorite paw pampering ritual starts with a fabulous exfoliating scrub from Crabtree and Evelyn called La Source Hand Therapy.

As the directions on the bottle state, do not pre-moisten hands and apply a small amount. Massage as if you were washing your hands from front to back. Rinse with warm water (no soap) and pat dry. Continue your paw pampering by applying the luxurious La Source lotion. On days when my hands are severely dry, I will also add  CeraVe to finish my moisturizing ritual.

Now you can frolic in the snow and bask in the holiday season with beautiful paws! Both are available at the Bunny Boutique and are great ideas to put in your bunny Christmas box.
